Peter Mertl is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University and a founder and partner of the law firm LEGAL ART. He speaks English, Czech, and Russian.
At the beginning of his professional career, Peter worked as a lawyer and attorney for a major private equity company, he was a member of the board of directors of a public health insurance company, and subsequently actively participated in transformation of health insurance companies to joint-stock companies. Peter, among other things, also participated in the establishment and formation of the Association of Telecommunications Operators.
As the managing partner, he is currently responsible for office management, liaison with clients, and setting an office structure and strategy, including the practice of law in the segment of his focus with more than 25 years of legal experience.
His practice focuses on transaction advisory, mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, gambling law, project funding, and real estate. Among other things, he has long been involved in the field of healthcare and healthcare delivery.
